Don't cut short your path to healing

That old adage it gets worse before it gets better is a good thing. A thought occurred to me today - it isn't the stuff someone has that we may covet but the qualities they have as character (I'm going to assume we're on the same level playing field). From wherever they came from, there was once a situation or demon they needed to face. The world intentionally wants to evolve you.  Science agrees. Yoga would call it enlightenment.  Doesn't matter really. I call it getting stronger all the time.

At each point of healing, the practise is sometimes to allow the pain to sit and watch it. Sit and watch emotions unfold, sit and observe bodily pain, sit and observe situations. If only to call on the crossroads where you then make a choice - that you're moving on, from whence you came, and seeing potential.

It's time to create a new story.  But it can't happen until the old one is done.

Established in 2012 The She Oak aims to provide healing through diet and lifestyle counselling as well as educational programs. I believe in teaching others to not only know their inherent constitutions that will best serve them but also how to help themselves should they mis-align with their true nature. Ayurveda treats the individual not the disease.
